Olympian Adam Rippon made headlines earlier this year after refusing to chat with Vice President Mike Pence by phone, but the figure skater says he's now open to the idea.
"I was offered a phone call with the vice president that I decided not to take before the games," Rippon told NBC's "Today" show on Friday. "I didn't take the phone call because I needed to focus on the competition."
The figure skater, who failed to medal at this year's games, said he would "totally" talk with the vice president by phone now that the competition is over. Rippon has said in previous interviews that he'd be open to meeting with Pence after the games.
